Example of diagram set.
* What is a set
A set is a collection of well define object donated with a capital letter eg A, B, C enclosed with carny braces{ }.
*Example of set
A={a, b, c, d} B={a, d, c, g}
*Union of set; A set is said to be union if all the element in the set are united uniquely, without repeatation.
From the above example
A∪B = {a, b, c, d, g}
*Interception of set; The interception of set is an element that exist in both given sets.
A∩B= {a, c, d}
* A+B = {a+a, b+d, c+c, d+g}
A-B = {a-a, b-d, c-c, d-g}
A*B = { aa, bd, cc, dg}
*Properties Of Set
Associative
Identity
Commutative
Distributive etc
* What is cardinality of Set, the total number of elements in a given set is called cardinality. Eg donated by C(A)
What is the cardinality of A={g, j, 7, 9, n, r}
C(A)= 6
* What is a singleton set. A singleton set is a set which the elements are separated only by space. Eg
G={a v 0 1 z s h 4} and the cardinality of this type of set is = 1
C(G)=1
*Complement of set.A complement of set is a set which element are not in the initial set, but closely found in the universal set.
Universal set is also called Mother of set it contains all the possible outcome of the other set.
U = {ℕ}
G= {1, 2, 3, 4}
G^= {ℕ- 1, 2, 3, 4}
